Biochar is a kind of charcoal produced by burning biomass (organic material) in a low-oxygen environment. This process, known as pyrolysis, converts the carbon in the biomass to a form that resists decay.

When the charcoal is buried or added to soils, most of the carbon can remain in the charcoal or soil for decades to centuries, given the right conditions.

The mission of Hillsdale College, as set forth in our Articles of Association, is to offer “sound learning” of the kind needed to preserve “the inestimable blessings . . .  of civil and religious liberty.”

To promote and defend this mission, Hillsdale hosts lecture programs on campus and around the country. The Freedom Library is an online video collection of lectures delivered at these programs.

Cell members organize themselves in a decentralized manner with no member having authority over other participants. The cells work toward empowering one another and the network as a whole, through education, peaceful non-compliance, and the creation of parallel institutions.

Think of it as your activist support network. Cell members make themselves readily available to render mutual aid to their tribe, in whatever form that may come.

Permaculture emphasizes patterns of landscape, function, and species assemblies. It determines where these elements should be placed so they can provide maximum benefit to the local environment.

In essence, it is the art of working with the natural aspects of the land to grow food and livestock, as opposed to forcing the land to the will of Man.

As a People, we have allowed ourselves to be coerced by the government into being regulated and restricted. They have required that we be licensed, fined, and punished if we do not follow their rules closely. All this is unnecessary and unnatural, and it's well past time we took our power back to live, associate, and conduct business as We see fit. After all, We are the Experts - not they.
