Ethylene Oxide

Used for sterilization and bombs. Highly carcinogenic!

Chemical Inundation

There are far too many chemicals being used in our world today which are so toxic to life that they are listed as poisons. Looking at their profile makes one wonder who ever conceived of okaying them for public use in the first place.

Some situations can perhaps be forgiven historically due to our collective ignorance, but these days there should be no reason whatsoever to use anything that is a known carcinogen anywhere in our world.

Ethylene Oxide [EO] is one of those 'amazing' creations of modern science that is so effective it can be used as a cleaning agent, and so explosive it can also be made into a bomb - thermobaric bombs, to be precise. Talk about diversity.

It is claimed that using thermobaric bombs on civilians is 'illegal'; like that matters to anyone whose intention is to destroy. When has war ever followed the law?

From Wikipedia -

"Ethylene oxide is a surface disinfectant that is widely used in hospitals and the medical equipment industry to replace steam in the sterilization of heat-sensitive tools and equipment, such as disposable plastic syringes. It is so flammable and extremely explosive that it is commonly handled and shipped as a refrigerated liquid to control its hazardous nature. Ethylene oxide achieved industrial importance during World War I as a precursor to both the coolant, ethylene glycol and the chemical weapon, mustard gas."

From CDC -

"Ethylene oxide (C₂H₄O) is a flammable gas with a somewhat sweet odor. Exposure to EO may cause headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, breathing difficulty, drowsiness, weakness, exhaustion, eye and skin burns, frostbite, and reproductive effects. Workers may be harmed from exposure to EO. The level of exposure depends upon the dose, duration, and work being done."

FDA.gov states that “...about fifty percent of all sterile medical devices in the U.S. are sterilized with ethylene oxide.”
Apparently, even though they've been using EO "safely" for decades, they are currently working on a pilot program to "... reduce the potential impact of EO on the environment and on the public health."

Here is their June 2022 Radiation Sterilization Update

"The FDA is considering a master file pilot program for premarket approval (PMA) holders whose approved devices are sterilized using radiation, including gamma radiation."

From ScienceDirect.com -

"The use of gamma radiation [for sterilization] became more widespread in the 1980s, following concerns with the ecological and toxicological risks associated with ethylene oxide."

So EO is actually more toxic than gamma radiation. Good to know they are trying to sort this out, after how many decades?!

The EPA site boasts a questionnaire that states EO is not typically washed out of the air by rain and can remain in the air and be transferred for untold miles by the wind, and that -

"Newer studies show that ethylene oxide is a more potent carcinogen than scientists had thought."

By the way, ethylene oxide has what one could consider 'off-spring', called Polyethylene Glycol; PEG for short. The EPA states that -

“The use of EO is necessary to assure that some types of medical equipment are sterilized for safe use.” and that, "EO is reacted to make ethylene glycol, which is a key ingredient in a variety of consumer household products. Ethylene oxide is an essential building block for synthetic fibers (e.g., upholstery, carpet), plastics, PVC pipe, and cosmetics."

Cosmetics?! Really!?

You may learn more than you ever wanted to know about PEGs at MadeSafe.org. Here's a little taste for you.

PEGs - What Are They?

Polyethylene glycol compounds are widespread in household products from skin care and cosmetics, to baby wipes and cleaners. They are used as thickeners, softeners, moisture-carrying agents, penetration enhancers, and surfactants.

The raw materials used to produce polyethylene glycol are by-products from petroleum refining and can also be derived from natural gas or coal. These are non-renewable sources. Synthesizing PEG compounds can follow multiple different routes, depending on the desired end-product. However, the process always involves ethylene oxide.

Polyethylene glycol compounds are listed on product labels multiple different ways:

  • They often appear notated as PEG followed by a number (ex: PEG-40). In U.S. personal care nomenclature, the number represents the number of moles (aka the amount) of ethylene oxide added to the compound.
  • PEG compounds can also be listed as PEG followed by a number and then another ingredient name (ex: PEG-20 cocamine). This represents a complex PEG compound – polyethylene glycol combined with another ingredient.
  • Complex PEG compounds can also appear as complicated-looking ingredients, usually containing many slashes in their names. (ex: BIS-PEG/PPG-16/16 PEG/PPG-16/16 Dimethicone). These names vary wildly, but will always contain “PEG.”

EO is being used to "disinfect" the swabs that are part of the COVID-19 tests which are being shoved into people's sinuses. Their science says the swabs are perfectly safe, but according to Prof. Dr. Werner Bergholz, the residue that remains on the swabs is well above what is considered safe limits. You can learn more and listen to his comments here at The Patriot United.

And then there's the FDA recall in June of '21 - Innova Medical Group Recalls Unauthorized SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative Test with Risk of False Test Results.

"The FDA has identified this as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall. Use of these devices may cause serious injuries or death."

Considering that ethylene oxide is extremely carcinogenic, do you think current cancer rates might be an indicator? The bottom line is, they will never know just how carcinogenic it actually is unless they continue to study it in our environment. No doubt the cancer industry is very grateful. Good Job Science and Modern Medicine! You can also learn more at NIH Cancer.gov.

These organizations are dictating our lives, all the while mass-developing and distributing products they claim are safe and effective. With so many mistakes being made, HOW are we supposed to trust any of their science?

The public has been so conditioned that all these organizations and "experts" are doing their best to bring science safely to us, but that experimentation is just part of the process and there will likely be some casualties along the way. Hope it's not you.
